KRACOVIC, Gloria J. - Of Burton, age 86, died Monday, August 11, 2014.
Funeral service will be held 1pm Saturday, August 16, 2014 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint,
Pastor Alexander West Jr. and Sister Joanne Fedewa officiating.
Private family burial in Flint Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Genesee County Humane Society or Genesys Hospice of Grand Blanc.
Visitation 11am Saturday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Gloria was born in Flint on January 25, 1928, the daughter of the Late Vincent and Beatrice (Bennett) Kracovic. She lived in the Flint area all of her life. She graduated from Flint Technical High School in 1946 and retired from GMPD in 1983. Aunt Gloria loved to travel, read, play cards and watch sports on TV, especially the Detroit Tigers.
Surviving are brother-in-law, Hamilton P. Peltier, Jr.;
nieces and nephews, Steve and Patti Peltier, Judy and Kim McClelland, Cary Trelevan, Michele and Frank DelGreco, Alice Dyer, Vince and Dawn Dyer, Joe and Joan Peltier, Ron Dyer and all of their families;
Gloria is also survived by many friends at Lockwood of Burton.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Sally Peltier and Norma Dyer.
Thank you to the staff at Genesys Convalescent Center Hospice for their care of our special Aunt Gloria.
