Brenda Carole Henson was born in Walnut Ridge, AR on September 29, 1943, daughter of the late Curtis and Bernell (Johnson) Henson. She met Robert Woolley when she was 15 years old. Bob asked her to marry him four days later. They were united in marriage on January 8, 1960 in Flint. Brenda enjoyed dancing and could cut a rug all night. She loved spending time with her family, especially time spent camping which included weekly dinners with their camping group. Brenda always looked forward to gatherings with Bob’s military friends.
Brenda is survived by her loving husband, Bob Woolley; two sons, Robert Woolley Jr. and Thomas (Suzanne) Woolley; daughter, Jean Ann (Aaron) Logsdon; grandchildren, Randall, Samantha, Vincent, Jessica, Curtis and Brock; many great-grandchildren; sisters, Marsha Henson and Cynthia (Ray) Stamps as well as many other loving family and friends. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Anita; daughter-in-law, Eloise Woolley and brother, Gary Henson.
The family would like to acknowledge and thank the Pulmonary Hypertension Association for their assistance during Brenda’s 19 year fight.
