WHITE, Charles H. “Chuck” – of Otisville, age 84, passed away April 16, 2013 at his residence. A Funeral Service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, April 20, 2013 at Richfield Church of the Nazarene, 7524 E. Mt. Morris Rd., Otisville, MI; Rev. Alan Duce officiating. Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday and Friday at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison. On Saturday, there will be visitation at the church for one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Genesys Hospice or Richfield Church of the Nazarene.
Chuck was born in Flint on October 2, 1928, son of the late Ray and Katie (Olmstead) White. He married Betty Lutze on September 16, 1950. Chuck was a member of Richfield Church of the Nazarene, where he served as a maintenance man for many years. Chuck retired from GM after many years of service. After retirement, Chuck worked as a driver with Allen Funeral Home for several years.
Chuck is survived by his wife of more than 62 years, Betty; children, Marsha Jensen (Ben), Paula (Gregg) Martin, Dan (Cheryl) White and Cathy White (Dan); 8 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; brother-in-law, Jeff Lutze and sisters-in-law, Barbara (Varian) Travor and Karen Tegethoff. His brother, Lawrence, preceded him in death.
