BRENNAN, Carl Frederick “Mickey” – of Flint, MI, age 90, passed away Monday, December 17, 2018 at his residence. A Funeral Service will be held 11 AM Friday, December 21, 2018 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road, Davison, MI 48423; Minister John Southern officiating. Burial, with Military Honors, will be in Richfield Union Cemetery. The family will receive visitors 4-8 PM Thursday, December 20, 2018 and 10-11 AM Friday, December 21, 2018 at Allen Funeral Home.
Mickey was born in Pottsville, PA on October 1, 1928, son of the late Robert and Agnes Brennan. He married Lois Pearl Taylor on December 31, 1960 and she preceded him in death on February 13, 2015. Mickey proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War from 1951-1952. He retired from GM in 1990 after 38 years of service. Mickey enjoyed gardening, baseball, football and nature walks looking for deer.
Mickey is survived by his stepson, Clark Taylor; 5 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; sister Kitty; many other loving family members and friends. He was preceded in death by 9 siblings.
