Beverly was born on December 12, 1932 and was the youngest daughter of Era and Donnah (Dean) Frappier. Beverly married Arthur Bigelow on June 21, 1952 in military service in Baltimore, Maryland. Beverly worked in many capacities in the office setting, but her most fulfilling job was wife, mother and dear and loyal friend to many. She will be remembered for many things including helping others, doing jig saw puzzles, canning and sewing and fixing anything and everything we brought to her. She was a coupon queen way before the television show. She would always buy extra groceries for her family and her pantry. When the grown children came home, she always knew when we needed a few extra things and would encourage us to take some of her extra groceries home with us. Beverly loved her church and community and attended Bethany United Methodist Church and was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 158, VFW Auxiliary Unit 1452 and the Gleaners.

Pancreatic cancer is the diagnosis the doctors gave Beverly in May of 2010, what she did was accept the challenge and did not allow it to define her life. She lived the rest of her life with the courage to fight this disease and she lived everyday with a positive attitude and with the realization that she could not change the facts, but what she could do is fight this on her own terms. Her strength and unwavering love for her family is what she used to forge forward.

She left this world taking God’s hand as she entered Heaven, leaving behind those who she loved deeply: her husband, Arthur of 59 years; her children, Candice (Gary) Coote, Diane (Henry) Shier, Faye (Juan) Cabello, Gwen (Terry) O’Malley, Howard (Tonia) Bigelow; she loved her 12 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren; sister, Audrey Laue; brother, Bruce (Sandy) Frappier; and sister-in-laws, Dorothy Frappier and Janet Frappier; grandchildren, Juan (Sabrina) and Jenni Cabello, Dustin (Susan) Bigelow, Ashlee Bigelow, Jamie (fiancé Tom) O’Malley, Kari Bigelow, Don Bigelow, Jason O’Malley, Justin Jersey, Ben Shier, Cody Jersey and John Coote; great-grandchildren, Juan, Kayla and Rea’ann Cabello, Austin, Preston and Lillian Bigelow, Ciara Cabello, Christopher Peraino, and Jaxon Bigelow; special extended family members, Daneen O’Malley, Steve and Brenda Cameron; and family and dear friends, Dick and Margie Boyd. Beverly was preceded in death by: her parents; daughter, Elicia Bigelow; great-granddaughters, Addison and Bailey Cabello; and siblings, Jean Ostrander and Dale Frappier.
