CLAPP, Beatrice Jane – Of Grand Blanc, age 92, died Thursday, August 16, 2012 in Grand Blanc.
Funeral service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday, August 20, 2012 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Chaplain Joy Fletcher-Thompson officiating.
Cremains will be interred at Sunset Hills Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice.
Visitation 11 a.m. Monday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Mrs. Clapp was born in Woodstock, Ontario, Canada on May 14, 1920,
the daughter of Alfred Charles and Rilla (Rockett) Biddis and lived in Zephyrhills, Florida and Swartz Creek, Michigan.
On September 1, 1942 she married Frank E. Clapp in Flint.
She was a member of the Red Hat Society and Art Club of Colony Hills and a member of First United Methodist Church, all of Zephyrhills, Florida.
Mrs. Clapp was a Bakery Supervisor for many years.
Surviving are husband, Frank;
son, Charles E. and wife Jane Clapp of Clio, Michigan;
daughter, Patricia J. and husband Jeff Hilliard of Grand Blanc;
7 grandchildren;
10 great-grandchildren and
3 sisters.

She was preceded in death by daughter, Linda Clapp; parents, Charles Alfred and Rilla Biddis; brother, Stanley Biddis and great-granddaughter, Crystal Reddy.
