KRAUSE, Alma Jane – Of Flint, age 95, passed away on Thursday, December 12, 2019 at Woodhaven.
Memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday, December 17, 2019 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Reverend Karen Williams officiating.
Cremation has taken place.
Visitation 2 p.m. Tuesday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Alma was born in Gilmore City, Iowa on November 12, 1924.
For the last 8 years she resided at Woodhaven Senior Community. The family would like to thank Karol and Beth, staff and residents at Woodhaven.
The family would also like to thank Rhonda and VcNica; the staff at Homestead Home Health Care Services and the Medical Team Hospice staff.
Alma was employed by GM Parts Division in Swartz Creek, retiring in 1978.
Surviving are son, Jim of Swartz Creek;
daughter, Lynda Phillips of Genesee, Michigan;
grandchildren, Steven Byrd, Theresa Byrd and Roxanne Phillips;
many great and great-great-grandchildren.
Special thanks to her great-granddaughter,Chelsea Byrd, for aiding her in her final years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard E., in 2005; sisters, Betty Cacutt and Sidney Blackmer; brother, Harry Williams Jr.
