CONLEE, Robert J. “Bob” – of Clio, age 72, died on Wednesday, February 19, 2020 at McLaren Regional Medical Center of Flint. Funeral services will be held at 11AM Tuesday, February 25, 2020 at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Pastor Ed Emmerling officiating. Burial in Woodlawn Cemetery. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Sunday from 12PM until 5PM, Monday from 4PM until 8PM, and Tuesday from 10AM until the time of service at 11AM. Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Genesee County.
Bob was born June 12, 1947 in Flint, Michigan to the late Clifton and Murvel (Westfall) Conlee. He graduated from Clio High School and later earned his bachelor’s degree from Western Michigan University. Bob married Sheryl Kackley on April 29, 1972, and together they had two children. He was the CEO of Conlee Oil Co. Bob was a member of Hurst/Olds Club of America, and the Corvette Club of Michigan. He enjoyed attending car shows and restoring cars. Bob won “Best Corvette in St. Ignace” and “Best of 442 Class” at the Woodward Dream Cruise. He was a huge University of Michigan football fan and thoroughly enjoyed his season tickets. Above all, Bob loved spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Surviving are: Daughter, Michelle (Kent) Wells; Son, Devin (Brittany) Conlee; Grandchildren: Miranda, and Morgan (Cam); Great grandson, Nash; Sister in law, Cheryl Conlee; Nephew, Jeff Conlee; Many dear friends.
