WHITMAN, BETTY JEAN age 93, of Flushing, MI, died Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at her home. Funeral Services will be 1:00 P.M. Monday, June 4, 2018 at the Reigle Funeral Home, 5501 W. Pierson Rd., Flushing, MI. Dr. George Coon officiating. Interment at Sunset Hills Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 10:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. Betty was born December 3, 1924 to parents Charles and Ada Hayward. She retired from A.C. Spark Plug after 30 years of service. Betty loved to travel and go to Shipshewana shopping with her brother and sisters but most of all spending time with her family. Surviving are her children Jack (Darlene) Whitman, Sandra (Tom) Behlen, Dan (Kim) Whitman; grandchildren Craig, Fred (Tiffany), Tamara (Richard), Melissa (Cory); several great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; sisters Dorothy, Phyllis, Lois; brother Keith; several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by husband Arthur Whitman.
