HEDRICK, Margaret L. – of Flint, age 91, passed away Sunday, May 6, 2012 at Genesys Hospice Care Center, Goodrich. A Funeral Service will be held 3 p.m. Wednesday, May 9, 2012 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison; Pastor James Goff officiating. Burial will follow in Flint Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be 1-3 p.m. Wednesday. Memorial contributions may be made to Grace Bible Church, 1460 N. Genesee Rd., Burton, MI 48509.
Margaret was born in Flint, MI on February 1, 1921, daughter of the late Earl and Ruba (Kincade) Fairman. Margaret Fairman married John Hedrick on November 8, 1941. John preceded her in death on May 5, 1962. Mrs. Hedrick was a member of Grace Bible Church.
Margaret is survived by her children, Larry (Cherie) Hedrick, Richard Hedrick, Douglas Hedrick, Scott Hedrick and Debra (Hedrick) Springsteen; grandchildren, John Hedrick, Andrea (Brett) Griswold, Curt Hedrick, Kelly (T.J.) Johnson, Amanda Springsteen and Erik Hedrick; great-grandchildren, Tristin Hedrick, McKenna and Calie Griswold and Theron Olson; siblings, Bernard Fairman, Ray Fairman and Curtis “Bud” Fairman. She was preceded in death by her children, John Hedrick, Linda Hedrick and Gary Hedrick and, her brother, Donald Fairman.
