MacINNES, Mary A. (Kilkoin) – Of Flint, age 82, died Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at her residence. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, December 17, 2011 at Peace Lutheran Church, 2051 West Maple Avenue, Flint, Reverend Paul M. Boerger officiating. Burial in Sunset Hills Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Peace Lutheran Church.
Visitation 12-8 p.m. Thursday and Friday at the Swartz Funeral home, 1225 West Hill Road. Mrs. MacInnes will be at the church from 10:30 a.m. Saturday until the time of the service. Mary was born in Flint, Michigan on April 19, 1929, the daughter of Thomas and Everala (Foote) Kilkoin. She was a member of Peace Lutheran Church, where she was involved in the Altar Guild and Quilters. Mrs. MacInnes was employed by Flint Boxmakers for 19 years, retiring in 1988. Surviving are two daughters, Alice and husband Darrell Briley of Seattle, Washington and Mary "Laurie" MacInnes of Flint;
three granddaughters, Taya and husband Brian Fox of Seattle, Washington,
Tonya and husband Richard Brownfield of Flint, Crystal and husband Roman Mereles of Flint; two great-granddaughters, Juliet and Madeline Fox;
three great-grandsons, Jacob R. Brownfield, Matthew and Zayne Mereles;
several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, William, in 1999; parents, Thomas and Everala Kilkoin; three brothers, Thomas Jr., Billie and Robert Kilkoin. Your condolences may be shared with the family at www.swartzfuneralhomeinc.com.
