MALIN, Gary – of Davison, MI, age 82, passed away Sunday, October 25, 2020 at Hurley Medical Center. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 12 noon Tuesday, November 3, 2020 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 404 North Dayton Street, Davison, MI 48423: Rev. Fr. Andrew A. Czajkowski celebrant. Cremation will take place following the Mass. The family will receive visitors 4-7 PM on Monday, November 2, 2020 and on Tuesday one hour prior to the mass at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. A Rosary will be prayed 6 PM on Monday at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, in Gary’s memory.
Gary was born in Flint, MI on November 21, 1937, son of the late John and Katherine (Kokinos) Malin. He married Bernice Keskes on February 13, 1965 and she preceded him in death on September 27, 2008. Gary retired from General Motors in 2010 after many years of service. He was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. Gary enjoyed exercising, loved cars, and spending time with his family.
Gary is survived by 2 sons, Matthew Malin and Todd (Kammi) Malin; 2 grandchildren, Mason and Payton; sister, Deborah Rowe; brother, William (Dana) Vallaire and many other loving family members and friends.
