HERRIMAN, Margaret “Maggie” Jean – of Davison, age 84, passed away peacefully in her sleep November 15, 2019 at Melody Pines Assisted Living. Cremation has taken place. A Committal Service will take place at Sand Lake Cemetery in the spring.
Margaret was born in Grand Rapids on January 13, 1935, daughter of the late Howard and Lucille (Schuller) Whiteford. She married Elwood “Woody” Herriman July 31, 1954; he preceded her in death June 30, 2017. Margaret was a beautician for many years. She enjoyed painting, especially with her special friend, Priscilla Skank. Above all, Margaret loved taking care of her family.
Margaret is survived by her sons, Craig (Mary Lou), Rod (Mona) and Kirk; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; sisters, Donya Lathrop and Dawn Shover and families, of Tawas City; many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her sisters, Barbara Bentz and Dana Rainsburger.
