DUPLANTY, Nancy L. – of Mt. Morris, age 77, died Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Saturday, February 25, 2017 at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Burial to follow in Flint Memorial Park. Family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Friday from 3-5 and 6-8PM.
Nancy was born October 26, 1939 in Flint to the late Clare and Agnes (Hale) Titmus and was a Mt. Morris Resident most of her life. She married Joseph Duplanty on November 19, 1955. She was a wonderful wife and loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was loved and cherished by all who knew her. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, eating ice cream, was a Tigers fan and loved her two dogs, Winnie-Pooh and Gus.
Surviving are: Husband, Joseph; Children: Laurene “Renie” (Larry) Griswold of Davison, Debbie (John) Crongeyer of Cape Coral, FL, Kathy (David) Ford of Mt. Morris, Joseph Jr. (Camey) Duplanty of Mt. Morris, Timothy (Laurie) Duplanty of Clio, Cheryl Brouillet of Clio, Thomas (Danelle) Duplanty of Mt. Morris; 18 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; sister, Sandra Wright; sister-in-law, Shirley Titmus of Flint; many nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by 4 brothers and 4 sisters. The family extends a special thank you to the staff of Absolute Home Health and Hospice Care especially Erika Burnham, Dr. Ahmad Abdel-Halim and staff for their love and care for Nancy.
