Joyce Marie Francis (Turnwald) Heinz,
Age 71, of New Lothrop, passed away surrounded by her loved ones on July 21, 2024.
Joyce was born on August 6, 1952, the daughter of William and Florance (Quaderer) Turnwald of Maple Grove.
Joyce graduated from St. Michael Catholic School in 1971. She worked for Montrose, Chesaning, and Owosso Post Office which she retired from after 23 years. She married the love of her life, George Heinz 51 years ago on June 2, 1973. They had two beautiful daughters, Shannon Quirk and Marcy Johns.
Joyce enjoyed doing crafts and spending time with family, especially her 3 grandsons. She also enjoyed making angels for all her loved ones. Her friends at the Senior Center were so important to her.
She is survived by her husband, George Heinz; daughters, Shannon (Scott) Quirk, Mary Johns; her three grandsons, Tyler (Sierra) Quirk, Dylan Quirk, and Yager Johns. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Florance Turnwald; brother, Dennis Turnwald, along with many other family and friends.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the St. Michael Senior Center.
Visitation will take place on Tuesday, July 23, 2024 from 11:00am until 7:00pm, at McGeehan Funeral Home - Martin Chapel. A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, July 24, 2024 at 11:00am with visitation one hour before mass at St. Michael Catholic Church of Maple Grove. Burial will follow at St. Michael Catholic Cemetery. |
