Norman J. Dipzinski, 77, of Au Gres, Michigan, formerly of Flint, Michigan passed away Tuesday evening, July 19, 2016 at his home with family by his side.
Norm was born March 13, 1939 to the late Alexander and Mary (Pewinski) Dipzinski. He married the former Carol J. Duncan on May 11, 1957 in Flint, Michigan and together raised three children, Rodney, Lori, and Mitchell.
Norm was a metal finisher for General Motors in Flint. He dedicated his service for 34 years retiring in 1993. Norm was a member of U.A.W., Metal Fab Local 659, A.A., the Arid Club and was proudly sober for 33 years. Norm loved his animals, playing euchre, watching Tiger baseball, but mostly spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Norm is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Carol J. Dipzinski, of Au Gres; children, Rodney J. Dipzinski and Lori R. Dipzinski both of Flint; grandchildren, RJ (Heather) Verdier, Shantel Dipzinski, Kristy Dipzinski, Matthew Dipzinski; great-grandchildren, Brooklynn, Kameron, Logan, Lukas, Mya, Landyn; sister, Bev McMonagle; brothers, Marv (Diane) Dipzinski, Gary (Arleen) Dipzinski; sister-in-law, Holly Pierce; special furry friends, Cody and Runner; many nieces and nephews and special friends.
Besides his parents, Norm was preceded in death by son, Mitchell; brother, Jerry Dipzinski.
