Elizabeth "Joan" Parker, age 73 of Flint, passed away on February 13, 2020, in the comforts of her home and with her family at her side. Joan was born in Adairsville, GA on November 24, 1946, and moved to Michigan at the age of five. She met her future husband Ken at the age of eight and was married for fifty-four years. Joan enjoyed gardening, flowers, crafts and the hunt for a great bargain. Her greatest joy of all was her family.
Joan is survived by her husband, Ken Parker; two sons, Thomas Parker and Tony (Colleen) Parker; five grandchildren, Johnathon Parker, Amanda Parker, Evan Murphy, Austen Murphy, and Morgan Murphy; sister, Jean Cuddle.
Joan was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Marjorie Kufrovich; grandson Neal; brother-in-law, John.
Arrangements for cremation have been entrusted to Lynch & Sons Funeral Directors - Capstick Chapel in Lapeer. A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date. |
