Grant Richard Roeher, 78, of Lapeer, died Friday, May 1, 2020.
Grant was born November 13, 1941 in Logan, West Virginia to Robert and Julie Anne (Crank) Roeher. He graduated from Logan High School, class of 1959. He married Lena Juanita Kelley on June 17, 1961 in Pontiac, Michigan. Grant went on to work skilled tades with the Pontiac Motors Division of GM for 41 years, retiring December 1, 2013. In his free time Grant loved going to the track to watch horse racing, playing slots at the casinos, visiting with friends from the shop and above all – time spent with family.
Grant is survived by his wife, Lena Roeher; children: Robert Richard Roeher of Lapeer and Staci Lynne Roeher of Lapeer; brothers: Jerry (Donna) Roeher and Darrell (Beverly) Roeher. He was preceded in death by his brother David Roeher; sisters: Pam Roeher and Claudette Roeher Workman and his aforementioned parents.
In keeping with Grant’s wishes, cremation services have been entrusted to Muir Brothers Funeral Home, Lapeer.
