LOSEY, Michael – of Burton, age 71, passed away Monday, October 21, 2019. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service, with Military Honors under the auspices of Davison American Legion Post #267, will be held 1 PM Friday, October 25, 2019 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison, MI 48423. Visitation will be 4-8 PM on Thursday. There will be one hour of visitation prior to the service on Friday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
Michael was born in Flint, MI on October 7, 1948, son of the late Gilbert and Estelle (Hackett) Losey. Michael graduated from Flint Central High School in 1968. After graduation, he proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War from 1969-1970 as part of the Battling Bastards. He married Jacquie LePage on April 22, 1972. Michael retired from GM after 31 years of service. He enjoyed golf, working on cars and attending all sporting events. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family.
Michael is survived by his wife, Jacquie; his dog, Bella; children, Jeffrey Losey and Melanie Williams, Aimee and Lyle Brown, Andrea and Todd Menko, Melissa McDonald and Justin Krul; 20 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; siblings, Norene Rood, Rick and Jane Losey; in-laws, Sue Losey, Richard Zakariasen, Shelly Losey. He was preceded in death by siblings, Roger, Bonnie Anderson, Sharon Zakariasen, Gerald, Duane; mother and father-in-law, Eunice and Leonard LePage.
