Gilchrist, Ardith Mae of Frankenmuth age 90 passed away February 17, 2016 at her residence. Funeral service will be held 1pm, Saturday, February 20, 2016 at Dodds Dumanois Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 901 Garland St. Flint, MI. Family will receive visitors from 11 am Saturday until time of service. Ardith was joined in marriage to Edgar Sept. 27, 1952 in Flint, MI., she was employed by AC Sparkplug retiring after more than 20 years of service. Ardith had a huge love for golfing and bowling and had a fondness for life and people. She is survived by her sister Nancy (Dick), sisters-in-law Audrey Miles, Gertrude Richards and several nieces and nephews. Ardith was preceded in death by her husband Edgar, sibings Vernon, Lila, Dick, Dean and Keith. The family would like to give special thanks to First State Hospice and Senior Home Care Solutions by Independence Village, for their wonderful caregivers who went above the call of duty for Ardith.
