NIVISON, Thomas Joseph, DDS – of Burton, MI, age 60, passed away Saturday, July 28, 2018. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held 3 PM Sunday, August 5, 2018 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Road, Davison, MI 48423. The family will receive visitors 1-3 PM Sunday, August 5, 2018 at Allen Funeral Home.
Thomas was born in Grosse Pointe Park, MI on May 13, 1958, son of the late David John and Martha Jane (Korb) Nivison. He was a graduate of Harbor Beach High School Class of 1976, Western Michigan University Class of 1980 and the University of Detroit Dental School Class of 1986. Dr. Nivison owned a dental practice in Flint, MI and Burton, MI. Thomas was a generous soul and enjoyed helping others. He touched many lives and will be greatly missed by all.
Thomas is survived by his son, Alexander T. Nivison; former wife, Sharon R. Persons; 2 sisters, Frances Nivison and Anne Nivison-Addison; friend, Paul Johr; several nieces, nephews and many, many loving friends and acquaintances . He was preceded in death by 6 siblings, Daniel Nivison, Michael Nivison, David J. Nivison, his twin brother, Charles “Chuck” Nivison, Mary Jane Nivison Krim and Louise Nivison Moukalian.
