Karen Nieman was born September 27, 1951 to Elmer and Clara [Davis] Nieman and she went to be with the Lord July 30, 2024.
Karen graduated from Hill-McLoy High School in Montrose, Michigan class of 1969 where she participated in several sports. She retired from James River Paper Mill in Rochester, Michigan.
Karen had an adventurous spirit and loved island life, traveling with family and friends, cross country motorcycle rides with her brother Don and the VA, casino trips, but most of all time spent with her family and many were considered family to Karen.
Left to cherish her memory are siblings: Sue (Mike) Brannam, Maureen (Rich) Bishop, Rose (Paul) Wagner, Paul (Marg) Kelly, brother-in-law Paul Richmond, sister-in-law Carol Nieman, nephews Robert (Pam) Richmond, Randy (Nancy) Richmond, Jenifer Nieman, bonus family: Becky Rapp, Jessica (Tyler) Bliemeister, Bo + Colt, Daniel Rapp, Carrie Rapp, and her cat Socks.
Waiting to welcome her home were her afore mentioned parents and siblings: Carol Richmond, Joan & John Vandenburg, Don Nieman, Jack Kelly, and her bonus family: Richard & Cynthia Rapp, Rick Rapp, Cody Pagan.
Cremation has taken place, and no services are planned a this time. Arrangements entrusted to Jansen Family Funeral Home – Columbiaville. |
