GEMBEL, Rose Ann – Of Flint, age 68, died Thursday, February 7, 2013 at McLaren-Flint.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday, February 14, 2013 at St. Michael Catholic Church, 609 East Fifth Avenue, Flint, Reverend Monsignor Richard J. Groshek officiating.
Burial in Flint Memorial Park.
Visitation 11 a.m.-2 p.m. and 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road.
Mrs. Gembel will be at the church from 10:30 a.m. Thursday until the time of the Mass.
Rose Ann was born in Alpena, Michigan on May 3, 1944.
On February 9, 1973 she married Richard Gembel in Flint.
She was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church.
She loved her family, shopping and great holiday dinners.
Rose Ann worked for 27 years at Heritage Manor as a Certified Nurse’s Aide.
Surviving are husband, Richard;
children, Mary Ann Gembel of Flint,
Samuel Louis and wife Brandi Gembel of Davison and
Heather Marie Gembel of Flint;
granddaughter, Isabella Marie Gembel;
sisters, Diane Stema of Sterling Heights and
Sandra Olexa of Iron River;
brothers, Larry Pieczynski of Alpena and
Ronald Pieczynski of Hale, Michigan;
nieces and nephews.
