LEARY, Fern A. - Of Flint, age 68, died Thursday, November 1, 2012 at Genesys Regional Medical Center.
Funeral service will be held 1pm Monday, November 5, 2012 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.
Pastor Dale Lewis officiating.
Burial in Flint Memorial Park.
Visitation 4-8pm Saturday and 2-8pm Sunday at the funeral home.
Fern was born in Flint on November 6, 1943. She married Carl Leary on August 26, 1978 in Flint.
Surviving are special friend, Jeff Gates of Flint;
children, Ana and husband Jack Cowell of Mt. Morris, Elmer Hernandez of Burton, Rodney Hernandez of Flint, David and wife Cindy Hernandez of Flint, Felix Hernandez of Big Rapids, Doug and wife Barb Leary of Swartz Creek, Roger and wife Darlene Leary of Grand Rapids, Jerry Leary of Indiana, Jeff Leary and wife of Bay City, Terry Lowes of Pontiac Dennis Leary of Flint, Jill and husband Dave Rumble of Virginia and Julie Leary of Indiana;
many grandchildren;
brother, Lanny and wife Lois Whitman of Mt. Morris;
sisters, Joann and husband Duane Larson of Elmira, Michigan, Patricia and husband Robert Cousins of Swartz Creek, Debra and husband Dale Gentle of Swartz Creek;
and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl, daughter, Rosemary and sister, Bonnie.
