DAVIS, Bonita L. - Of Davison, age 62, died Thursday, May 22, 2014 at her residence.
Funeral service will be held 1pm Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint,
Pastor Steve Wood officiating.
Burial in Flint Memorial Park.
Visitation 1-8pm Tuesday until the time at the funeral home.
Bonita was born in Flint on January 2, 1952 and was a resident of the Flint area all of her life. She was a member of the Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe. Bonita retired from General Motors. She enjoyed playing piano, bead work, crafting, pillow making and going to the casino.
Surviving are children, John Velasquez, Bessie, Tim, Rob and Matthew and wife Amy Davis;
grandchildren, Jessica Velasquez, Jason Busalacchi and Mason Davis;
great-grandson, Joshua;
sister, Nancy Henry and brother, Marvin Davis;
and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
