WEST, SR., Gerald – of Davison, age 79, passed away June 17, 2017 at Hurley Medical Center. A Funeral Service will be held 11 AM Thursday, June 22, 2017 at Allen Funeral Home, 9136 Davison Rd., Davison; Elder John Hart officiating. Cremation will take place following the service. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 3-8 PM. There will be one hour of visitation prior to the service on Thursday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association.
Gerald was born in Flint, MI on September 1, 1937, son of the late Lawrence and Delva (Welsh) West.
Gerald is survived by his wife, Helen; children, Vicki Welch, Chris Snyder, Jerry (Beth) West, Jr., and Pam (Dennis) Beringer; 11 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by three brothers.
