Carol Lynn Carey passed away on Tuesday, October 8, 2019 at 69 years old. She was born in Flint on September 15, 1950 to Gertrude Carey and the late Shannon Carey. Carol graduated from Flint Northwestern High school and Hurley Nursing School. She was a registered nurse at Hurley Medical Center for 20 years specializing in neonatal care and then devoted her time caring for the elderly at Loving Hands Adult Day Health Club. She was a kind and giving soul, willing to help anyone in need. She loved animals, making furry friends wherever she went. . She was a devoted and loving mother, daughter, sister, and friend. She will be missed and loved always. Carol is survived by her daughter, Courtney (Brian Huot) Dutkowski, mother, Gertrude Carey; and brothers: Brent (Valerie) Carey and family, and Greg Carey. A memorial service will be held at 12pm on Saturday, October 19, 2019 at Hill Funeral Home, 11723 S. Saginaw St., Grand Blanc. The family will receive visitors two hours prior to the service, beginning at 10am. |
