Raymond Kenneth “Ray” Calkins of Burton age 61 died Saturday November 17, 2012 at Genesys Regional Medical Center. Honoring his wishes cremation has taken place. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St John Catholic Church 404 Dayton St. Davison. Family gathering and services time will be announced at a later date. Those desiring may make contributions in Ray’s memory to the Hansen Funeral Home. Raymond was born in Flint Michigan April 10, 1951 the son of the late Ray & Theresa (Zaneski) Calkins and had resided in the Davison-Burton area most of his life. Ray could be considered as the number one Detroit Tiger’s Fan a title granted to him by family and friends. He had been employed by Consumer Energy and Genesee County Parks. He leaves to cherish his memory, Life Partner Debbie Tomasik, sisters Phyllis Calkins, Patricia Tomasik, and Barbara (Buck) Ankney.
