SABO, Sally Sue - Of Fenton, age 79, died peacefully surrounded by her family Saturday, April 18, 2020.
A memorial service will take place at a later date, when things settle down.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Catholic Charities.
Sally was born in Flint, Michigan on February 24, 1941, the daughter of the late Jack and Eliza (Heath) Cousineau. She graduated from Flint Northern High School. Sally proudly owned and operated It’s a Grin Gift and Party Shop for approximately 10 years. Sally will be remembered for her contagious laugh and heartwarming smile. She loved her family and spending summers on Lake Fenton. Sally was also a proud member of the American Legion and Fenton Moose Lodge.
She leaves behind her loving husband of 48 years, Robert Sabo;
Children, Sheryl (Steve) Colley, Greg (Diane) Tankersley and Brian Tankersley;
Grandchildren, Tiffany (Wayne), Eric (Jenna), Tracy (Troy), Heath (Christina), Rebecca and Danny;
18 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren;
She also leaves behind a brother, Dan (June) and several brothers/sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jack and Betty Cousineau, her brother Tim Cousineau, Aunt Nonnie, mother-in-law, Mildred Sabo and son Bradley Tankersley.
