Age 75, of Mount Morris, died Thursday, November 7, 2019, at her home. In accordance with Margaret's wishes, cremation has taken place.
Margaret was born December 25, 1943, in Flint, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Steve and Julia (Bartlay) Gold. Educated locally, Margaret lived in the Genesee County area her entire life.
Margaret would meet, fall in love, and marry the love of her life, Robert Bigra, on May 15, 1965. They began their life together, in Mount Morris, raising their daughter, Theresa.
Always working to make the community a better place, Margaret was an active volunteer for the Mount Morris Library, Hurley Medical Center Gift Shop, the Neighborhood Services Center, and The F. A. Bower Theater. Although she battled mental illness for many years, she dedicated herself to her family and the community.
Left to cherish her memory, are her husband of 54 years, Robert; daughter, Theresa, and husband, Jeff Tumavitch; granddaughters: Sarah and Kathryn; brothers: Steve and wife, Ruth Gold, and Richard Gold.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
