HARCOURT, Richard Arthur. – of Lewisburg, Tennessee, formerly Clio, age 73, died Sunday, December 4, 2016 in Lewisburg, Tennessee. Funeral services will be held at 11AM Friday, December 9, 2016 at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Pastor Bob Koch officiating. Burial in Flint Memorial Park. Family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Thursday from 4-8PM and Friday from 10AM until the time of service at 11AM.Contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.

Richard was born January 30, 1943 in West Branch, Michigan to the late Arthur and Leona (Schaefer) Harcourt. He graduated from Clio High School in 1961. Richard married Sherry Lee on July 21, 1962 at Christ the King Lutheran Church. Mr. Harcourt retired from GM in 1995 with over 33 years of service. He was a member of the Indian Guides. Richard was an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed spending time outdoors and working on cars. Above all, Richard loved his family and was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He will be greatly missed.

Surviving are: Loving wife, Sherry Harcourt of Lewisburg; Son, Gregg Harcourt of Farmington Community, TN; Daughter, Vickie Harcourt-Burks of Clio; Grandchildren: Andrew (Amanda) Cromwell, Colette (Adolf) Hense III, and Amanda Burks; Great grandchildren: Cannan Cromwell, Hunter Cromwell, and Dayton Childress; Brother, Patrick (Kathy) Harcourt; Sister, Cynthia (Keith) Harrison; Several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
