George Stephen Black passed away on September 21, 2024, in Florence, SC due to complications from a head injury. His passions were bluegrass music, history, gardening, and making things in his workshop. He is survived by wife Rivanna (nee Eunice), children Ronda (John), George (Kim), Noel (Jessica), siblings Bill (Merlene), Gloria (Richard), Marty (Doug), several grandchildren, and one great-granddaughter. He is preceded in death by his first wife and mother of his children Janet, siblings Jim (Pat), Clara (Richard), and parents Robert and Helen. Requiem Mass is on 10:00 AM, Tuesday, October 1, 2024 at Dodds Dumanois Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 901 Garland St. Flint, MI 48503. Fr. Francisco Radecki officiating. Burial at Crestwood Cemetery in Grand Blanc.
