Sarah Lee McLeod, of Chesaning,
died peacefully after a valiant fight with cervical cancer, on August 31, 2024, at the age of 38.
Sarah was born on September 6, 1985, the daughter of Dale McLeod and Pamela Blaney. She graduated from Chesaning High School in 2004, where she was a cheerleader. She loved Elvis Presley, and collecting his memorabilia. She most of all enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, she was also very passionate and involved with autism awareness.
Sarah is survived by her children, Syvana Hofstetter and Chevey McLeod; mother, Pamela Blaney; siblings, Michelle (Matt) Frasier Sr., Tiffany (Cody) Brindley, and Dennis Miller (Billie - Jo); boyfriend, Craig Hofstetter; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and one special cousin, Jennifer Theile. She was preceded in death by her father, Dale McLeod Jr.; Stepfather, William Blaney; grandparents, Clayton (Beverly) Sawvel, Margaret (Frank) Merkiel, and Dale McLeod Sr.
A visitation will take place on Friday, September 6, 2024 from 10:00am until the funeral service at 1:00pm, at McGeehan Funeral Home - Martin Chapel. Burial will follow after the service at Cook Cemetery in Burt.
