McCALLISTER, C. Carol - Age 71, of Flint, passed away Monday June 9, 2014 after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
Mass will be celebrated 10 AM Friday, June 13 at St. Michael Catholic Church, 609 E. Fifth Ave., Flint.
Visitation will be 3-8 PM Thursday at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Flint, and one hour before mass Friday at the church.
Those desiring may make contributions to Whaley Children's Center or the Genesee County Humane Society.
Carol was born October 8, 1942 to the late John and Mabel (Foutch) Coughlin. She worked for AT&T for 34 years, retiring in 1994. Carol loved all animals, especially her cats. She was an accomplished artist and enjoyed photography and gardening. She also enjoyed volunteering her time for Whaley Children's Center and Hurley Medical Center.
Carol is survived by her brothers, Max and Lawrence (Reba) Coughlin of Burton; sisters, Charlotte Ann of Flint, Bette Mae of Burton, and Rosemary Bernard of Swartz Creek; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, Gerald Coughlin.
We wish to thank her many friends and neighbors who helped her tremendously. An extra special thanks to friends Sue & Doug, and Diana, Teresa and Marsha. They went above and beyond.
