KEY, Dennis M. – of Birch Run, age 59, died Saturday October 1, 2011 at his residence. Funeral services will be 12 Noon Wednesday, October 5, 2011 at the O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Birch Run, Pastor Kevin Leaman officiating. Cremation to follow. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 2-9PM and on Wednesday from 11 AM until time of services. Contributions may be made to Paws with a Cause.
Dennis was born February 23, 1952 in Flint to Noel and Norma Jean (Markee) Key. He married Joy Horn on October 12, 1974. He was a resident of Birch Run since 1990. Mr. Key retired from SMCO in 2009 with 28 years seniority and was a member of the UAW Local #668. His focus in his life was his grandkids. He also enjoyed the woods and small game hunting.
Surviving are: wife, Joy; 2 daughters, Tamara (Joshua) Lintz of Clarksville, Tiffany Key of Bridgeport; 4 grandchildren, Jordan, Breanna, Rylee and Courtney; mother, Norma Jean Key of Davison; 2 sisters and a brother, Jeanette (Tom) Bateman of Davison, Laura (Randy) St. Marie of Davison, Gary (Jackie) Key of Burton; numerous nieces and nephews.
