PAVLICA, Linda Jean - Age 55 of Swartz Creek, died Sunday, January 20, 2019. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00 AM Thursday, January 24, 2019 at St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church, Swartz Creek. Fr. Richard Groshek celebrant. Burial in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery, Swartz Creek. Visitation will be held Tuesday at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center Tuesday from 5-8 PM, Wednesday from 1-4 and 6-9 PM where a rosary will be prayed at 7 PM and a American Legion Auxiliary Memorial Service will be held at 7:30 PM, and at Church Thursday from 10 AM until the time of the service. Those desiring may make contributions to the Swartz Creek American Legion Auxiliary Post 294.

Linda was born June 26, 1963 in Ann Arbor, the daughter of David and Nancy (Rushford) Waterbury. She was a 1982 graduate of Swartz Creek High School, after graduation she attended cosmetology school. She married James R. Pavlica June 12, 1982 at St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church in Swartz Creek. Linda went on to work at Sports Creek Raceway until its closing. She then went to Ross Medical School and became a medical assistant, where she used her training and worked with a cancer doctor for 4 years; that is where she found her true calling. She was always one to help everyone. She was a member of St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church and a lifelong member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 294. Linda enjoyed camping with family, and loved going to the casino's, and traveling. She lived life to the fullest, always ready for a fun time.

Surviving are: her husband of 36 years, James; children, Kristen (Harold) Coburn, Brian (Cortni) Pavlica, and Kasandra Pavlica (Shawn Irwin) all of Swartz Creek; grandchildren, McKenzie, Mary, Elizabeth, James, Patrick, Ciara, Morgan, Mason, Lexie, Madison, and Connor; brother, John (Lisa) Waterbury of Highland; sisters, Laurie (Marty) Stone of South Carolina and Vicki (Jim) Yankee of Durand; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Ed (Ruth) Pavlica, Dolores Swerdan, Christine Henry, and John (Cindi) Pavlica; step father, Donald Hassigan of Florida; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Trey III; and step mother, Eileen Waterbury. Tributes may be posted at www.sharpfunealhomes.com.
