Martinez, John M. -Age 65, of Swartz Creek, died March 2, 2019. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Thursday, March 7, 2019 at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Flint. Visitation will be 11 AM until 3 PM and 5 PM until 8 PM on Wednesday, and from 10 AM until time of service Thursday. Those desiring may make contributions in lieu of flowers to NTC Church Online Ministry ( www.ntc.church). John was born on March 11, 1953 in Galveston, Texas the son of John and Candida (Buenetello) Martinez. He married Diana Burch on November 3, 1979 in Swartz Creek. John was a child of God. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. A tall and very strong man, John was a Truck Driver and an all around worker who set the example for others. He was a listener with a large heart to match. Surviving are wife of 39 years, Diana; children, Candice (Joel) Morse of Warren, Adam (Sharonda) Martinez of Flint and Gina (Neil) Adams of Chesaning; grandchildren, Calvin Adams, Audrey Adams, Piper Morse, Paisley Morse, Colton Adams, Lola Morse, and Lydia Morse; mother-in-law, Pat (Burch) Stewart (Doug Stewart).
