TRIGGER, Norbert Charles – Of Flint, age 90, died Wednesday, June 19, 2013 at his residence.
Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 22, 2013 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Reverend Harold K. Polk, Jr. officiating.
Burial in Evergreen Cemetery with a military graveside service under the auspices of VFW Post #822 Honor Guard.
Visitation 12-8 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. Saturday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Norbert was born on April 29, 1923 to William and Mary (Krause) Trigger.
Survived by sisters, Dorothy and husband Raymond Wilson,
Mary Ann Trigger,
Thelma Brown,
Phyllis and husband Donald Ellis;
many nieces, nephews, and special nephew and caregiver, Tom Wilson.
He was preceded in death by parents, William and Mary Trigger; brothers, James Trigger, Frank (Pete) and wife Donna, Francis (Buck) and wife Betty and Robert Trigger; sister, Joan and Dennis Wilbur; brother-in-law, Charles Brown.
He proudly served in World War II. He served on the Flint Fire Department for 8 years. He owned and operated Trigger’s Rainbow Bar for 12 years and The Town Pump for 13 years.
