Daniel E. Mohr, age 88 of Mesick and formerly of Swanton, Ohio, died October 8, 2010 at the Manistee County Medical Care Facility
He was born February 5, 1922 in Delta, Ohio the son of the late Andrew and Mabel Mohr. Daniel was a self-employed farmer.
Danny was an avid gardener of both vegetables and flowers; sharing both with his friends and neighbors. In his younger years, he also enjoyed hunting.
He is survived by his daughters, Judi Morrow of Findlay, Ohio, Barb Hurst of Manistee, MI; son, Randy Mohr of Broomfield, CO; 5 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandson.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Betty (Thomas) Mohr; his second wife, Irene (Hayes) Mohr; and 2 grandchildren, Amy Morrow and Ryan Mohr.
Cremation has taken place at Oak Grove Cemetery in Manistee. A memorial service will be held at a later date in Swanton, Ohio.
The family has entrusted funeral arrangements to Oak Grove Cremation Center.
