Lincoln Van Auch (Linc/Van) passed away peacefully with family by his side on September 8, 2017. He was an amazing husband, father, grand-father, great-grandfather, brother and friend. He was happiest at Priest Lake communing with nature, taking beautiful pictures and framing them for family and friends. He was a generous supporter of the Priest Lake Community, always ready to help out where he could. He and his dog, Leroy, were always out and about on their UTV enjoying the beauty of his favorite place. Everyone was a friend, and Lincoln's smile had a way of brightening everyone's day. He always had a story to tell to anyone who would listen. He loved his family, pets, Leroy and Ricky, friends, and Priest Lake. He will be greatly missed! Now he knows the secret!!
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lincoln G. Auch and Ida Mae Weber (Peggy), and step-mother, Noreane Auch. He is survived by his wife, Sharon Van Auch; son, Dallas (Karrie) Auch; grandchildren, Logan, Natalie, Gavin, and Maggie Kate; son, Ken (Christina) Auch, grandchildren, William, Chett, Nicholas and Mackenzie; great-granddaughter, Orrora; daughter, Vanessa (Kenny) Zink, grandchil-dren, Emily and Brady; and daughter, Veronica Van Auch; as well as siblings, Colleen (Dean) Woods, Pamela Ross (Rich) Gilbertson, Cynthia (Steve) Garey, Kristina Boltiador, Lisa Kauffman and Randy Auch, as well as nieces and nephews.
An Open House/Celebration of Life will be held at Waverly Place, 709 W. Waverly Place, Spokane, WA 99205 on October 15, 2017 from 1 pm to 4 pm. Another Open House/Celebration of Life will be held at Priest Lake in the spring of 2018. Date and time will be announced at a later date. Donations can be made to Priest Lake Memory Gardens in Lincoln's name at www.priestlakememorygarden.com.
