CARRIGAN, Susan Diane - age 71, of Fenton, died Thursday, December 13, 2018. A memorial service will be held 11 AM Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at Tyrone Covenant Presbyterian Church, 10235 White Lake Rd., Fenton with Pastor Lawrence Bowlin officiating. The family will receive friends from 10 AM - 11 AM Wednesday at the church. Donations may be made to Tyrone Church and will be given to the family. Flowers may be sent to the church. Burial of her cremated remains will be held at a later date at Great Lakes National Cemetery. Susan was born February 21, 1947 in Fenton, the daughter of Leo and Wanda (Dunk) Spear. She married Bruce W. Carrigan on March 10, 1978 and he preceded her in death on December 17, 2005. She was a member of Tyrone Covenant Presbyterian Church and enjoyed spending time outdoors with her grandsons and animals. Surviving are: daughter, Amy (Gary) McFall of Holly; two grandchildren, Jacob Flowers and Mitchell McFall; great-granddaughter, Rowen McFall; stepchildren, Neil, Nancy, and Robin; sister, Janet (Roger) Bass of Greensville, SC; many nieces, nephews, and extended family members. She was preceded in death by: her parents; her husband; her son, Christopher Runyan; brother, Albert Spear; and sister, Cleo Alfredson. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
