Cremation has taken place.
William was born in Michigan on November 15, 1928, the son of William and Blanche (Reynolds) Burns. William retired from General Motors in 1981 after 30 years of service. He was a loving father and grandfather.
Surviving are sons, Charles and William;
daughter Joyce Tolliver;
6 grandchildren, Michael VanDorne, Laura Murphy, Carissa Worthington, Randall Tolliver, Rebecca Anderson and Benjamin Burns;
and 19 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Betty.
