SLOSAR, DANIEL – Of Bay City, formerly of Flint, age 71, died Tuesday, July 30, 2024 at McLaren-Bay City.
Memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 14, 2024 at Pilgrim Lutheran Church, 3222 Genesee Road, Burton, Reverend Mark Matheny officiating.
Those desiring may make contributions to Pilgrim Lutheran Church.
Visitation 10 a.m. Wednesday at church until the time of the service.
Daniel was born on March 17, 1953 in Flint, Michigan, the son of Joseph and Inez (Piccobotta) Slosar.
He graduated from Flint Northwestern.
On October 18, 1980 he married Linda Butts at the family farm in Holly.
He was a member of Pilgrim Lutheran Church since 1995.
Daniel worked at GM/Delphi for 34 years as a skilled tradesman.
He grew up playing hockey; loved to sail and enjoyed taking trips on his motorcycle with his wife.
Surviving are wife, Linda;
son, Joe (Ashley);
grandchildren, Titus, Autumn and Dominic;
sister, Lisa (Andy) Stowe;
sister-in-law, Deborah (Larry) Krafcik-Shuster;
nieces and nephews, Rachel (Todd) Farabee,
Sarah (Mike) Tater-Hamilton,
Zachary (Lindsay) Krafcik and
Kaitlin (DJ Conley) Krafcik.
