GOLDIE, Ronald Van - Of Davison, age 64, died Sunday, March 6, 2011 at Hurley Medical Center.
Funeral service will be held 12 noon, Thursday, March 10, 2011 at Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor Maurice V. Anderson officiating.
Burial in Evergreen Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Imus Cattle Ranch for Kids, P.O. Box #250, Ribera, New Mexico, 87560. Visitation 4-8 p.m. Wednesday and 11am Thursday until the time of the service at the funeral home. Ronald was born in Beckley, West Virginia on July 12, 1946, the son of the late John Fred and Ruth Faye (Lilly) Goldie. He retired from General Motors after 30 years of service. Surviving are wife, Sylvia;
Daughter, Teresa Lambitz; Son, Ron (Lauren);
Grandchildren, Haley Lambitz, Cameron, Jack, and Quinn Goldie; Sisters, Marcia (Robert) Meador and Karen McMillan of Maryland; Many nieces and nephews; Special friend, Larry Oakes.
