Stratton, William (Bill) Harold Sr. – passed away Monday, August 19th, 2024 at Henry Ford Hospital. A Memorial Mass will be held at Holy Redeemer Church on Thursday, August 29, 2024 at 12:00pm. Family will receive family & friends at the church beginning at 11:00am. William was born February 7, 1942 to his late mother Mary (Brown) and father Harold Stratton. He married Kathryn (Posak) Stratton June 5,1964 in Port Huron, Michigan. He was a proud member of the Laborers Union for over 50 years. He loved his family and enjoyed spending his time with them. He will be greatly missed. He is survived by his children, Barbara (Michael) Amberg, Kathryn (Brian) Helman, William (Jacqueline) Stratton Jr., and James (Terrie) Stratton, and grandchildren Mandy Stratton, Christopher (Michelle) Berry, Justin (Carrie) Berry, Mackenzie Stratton, Morgan (Taylor) McPhail, Monica (Chandler) Morris, Joseph Amberg, James Stratton II, and Michelle Amberg; great-grandchildren, Hannah Hayward, Katherine Hayward, Olivia Hayward, Madison Berry, Ezra Berry, and Jamison Berry, Anastasia Berry, William H Littell, and Weston Berry, and siblings Carol Weier, Marsha (Leonard) Pickelman, Darlene Cryderman, and Robert Stratton. He is preceded in death by his loving wife Kathryn and siblings Ruthann Selleck, Sharon Hodge, Gerry Stratton, Pearl Major, Dale Stratton, Susan Dowland. Bill’s family would like to extend a special thanks to the caring and dedicated staff at The Pines of Burton and Courtyard Manor Farmington.
