SNYDER, Charlotte Cecelia (Wawro) - Of Flint, age 85, died Sunday, July 8, 2012 at her residence.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated 1 pm Thursday, July 12, 2012 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 1227 East Bristol Road, Burton, MI,
Father Steve Anderson officiating.
Burial in New Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
Visitation 4-8pm Wednesday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint. A Rosary will be prayed 7pm Wednesday evening at the funeral home. Charlotte will be at the church 12:30 pm Thursday until the time of the Mass.
Charlotte was born in Syracuse, New York on September 2, 1926, the daughter of the late Jacob and Agnes Wawro and was a resident of Flint since 1953. She married Robert Snyder on June 6, 1953 in Flint and he preceded her in death in 2005. She was employed with Hudson’s Department Store for 20 years. Charlotte was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church Altar Society and Council of Catholic Women. She loved to bowl, play Bridge and Pinochle. Charlotte was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Surviving are children, Stephanie Johnson, Paul (Diane) Snyder, Jeanette (Mitch) Roat and Richard (Denise) Snyder;
8 grandchildren, Andrea (Scott) Freeman, Eric and Matthew Snyder, Jeremy and Mark Roat, Emily Snyder, John Truman and Heather Clement;
many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by granddaughter, Elizabeth Johnson, son-in-law, Paul Johnson, sisters, Lottie Perrigo, Stella Randall and brothers, John and Edward Wawro.
