MONTGOMERY, Earl H. - Of Flint, age 77, went to be with the Lord, Monday, August 4, 2014, peacefully surrounded by his loving family at Genesys Regional Medical Center.
Funeral service will be held 1pm Thursday, August 7, 2014 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint,
Pastor Donnie Eagle and Reverend Ernest E. Davis officiating.
Burial in Crestwood Cemetery.
Visitation 6-8pm Tuesday and 11am-8pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
Earl was born in Nashville, Tennessee on September 6, 1936. On June 22, 1957, he married Nora Lewis in Flint. Earl retired from General Motors. Earl served his country in the United States Navy.
Surviving are wife Nora;
children, Joyce and husband George Davison of Lennon, Michael and wife Pamela Montgomery of Grand Blanc, Elizabeth and husband Richard Shafer of Swartz Creek and Mary and husband Mike Smith of Gaines;
grandchildren, Jason, James, Trenda, Nicole, Bryce, Matthew, Kendra, Krista Amanda, Craig, Phillip;
several great-grandchildren;
brother, James and wife Char Shaw of Swartz Creek;
many nieces and nephews.
