GLASCO, William Donald – Of Davison, age 78, died Friday, February 26, 2016 at his residence.
Funeral service will be held 10am Monday, February 29, 2016 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint,
Pastor Jim Hibbard officiating.
Burial in Evergreen Cemetery.
Visitation 1-8pm Sunday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Deliverance Tabernacle.
William was born in Burton, Michigan on July 7, 1937, the son of Leslie and Mary Glasco. William graduated from Atherton High School in the class of 1955. He married 'Joyce' Moutray on April 7, 1958 at Deliverance Tabernacle. He was very active in Davison Little League, coaching for 17 years. Of course he was a big Detroit Tigers fan, loved U of M and he worked for the Flint Auto Auction on Western Road for 16 years as a driver. Mr. Glasco worked for General Motors for 40 years at AC Spark Plug and then Delphi, retiring in 1995.
He is survived by his wife; Joyce,
three sons, Steven, Sr. (Kim); Gerald (Lisa) and Matt (Kristi) Glasco;
daughter, Rebecca (Ron) Auger;
12 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and four sisters.
He was predeceased by his parents and four brothers and one sister.
