STEIN, Arnold Robert "Bob" - Age 75, of Swartz Creek, died Sunday, June 24, 2018. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00 AM Wednesday, June 27, 2018 at St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church, Swartz Creek. Fr. Louis Ekka celebrant. Visitation will be 2-8 PM Tuesday at Sharp Funeral Home, Miller Road Chapel, at our temporary location at Hill Creek Church, 5363 Hill Road, Mundy Township and at church Wednesday from 10 AM until the time of the service. A vigil service and Knights of Columbus Memorial Service will be held at the funeral home Tuesday starting at 7 PM. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church.
Bob was born October 4, 1942 in Saginaw, the son of George and Eileen (Rousseau) Stein. He was a 1960 graduate of Flint Central High School and he attended Mott Community College. He married Margaret M. " Peggy" O'Dea February 24, 1968 in Flint. He had resided in the Flint area his entire life. Bob retired from Superior Cadillac Pontiac in Flint, he also had been employed by Vic Canaver Chevrolet, New York Carpet World, and Sears. His joy was taking care of his three horse and his beloved dog, Pete. He was a member of St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church. He also was a member of the Swartz Creek Knights of Columbus.
Surviving are: his wife of 50 years, Peggy; daughter, Colby AnnMarie Stein of Milford; son, Steve and wife Marisa Stein of Grand Blanc; His beloved grandchildren, Nicklas Robert, Isabel Antonia, and Iris Eileen Stein; best friends, George and wife Helen Badal of California and Danny and wife Jan Smith of Georgia.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, George R. Stein; and uncles, James and Bob Rousseau. Tributes may be posted at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com. |
