BRAGG, DONEL JOE, JR. "DJ" – Of Flint age 67, died Monday, April 8, 2024 at Willowbrook Manor.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 11, 2024 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Reverend Jeffrey Glover and Reverend Steven Curtis officiating.
Burial in Evergreen Cemetery.
Visitation 11 a.m. Thursday until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Donel was born in Flint, Michigan on October 27, 1956, the son of Donel and Shirley (Crawley) Bragg.
On December 5, 2020 he married Mashell Luttrell.
Enjoyed spending time outdoors hunting and fishing. Spent time with the church, singing, and watching old westerns. He loved going to watch his sons, nieces, and nephews participate in sporting events any time he could.
Surviving are wife Mashell;
4 sons, Donel Bragg III, Steve Bragg, Damion and wife Katrina DeRosia, and Jordon and wife Kaitlyn DeRosia.
many grandchildren and great-grandchildren;
step-children, Katrina Weil and companion, Sarah of Burton,
Nathan and wife Holly Weil of Ohio,
Jared and wife Crystal Gipson of Davison,
Erika Gipson and fiance’ Ricky Zinn of Flushing and
Lindsey Gipson of Tennessee;
brothers and sisters, Guy w. Bragg and Tammy;
Karen S. Curtis
Darryl Bragg and Janice Caruso
Christine and Robert Maupin and Michelle Giamporcaro;
Daniel Jerrolds.
He was preceded in death by his son, Brett Bragg; parents, Donel Joe Bragg and Shirley Ann Crawley.
